Book Fair
The Friends group generously finances most of the Library's events and special offerings, such as the Community READ, the Summer Reading Program, the Winter Read Challenge, and the Library's art exhibitions. We also contribute funds for specific needs like updating the Teen Center with new furniture and shelving. If you have attended Library events, it's likely that the Friends of the Library, consisting of hundreds of community members, have supported and funded them.

The success of the 52nd Annual Friends of the Coronado Library Book Fair was truly a result of community collaboration and was made possible by the dedication of community members who generously donated their gently used books, the over 100 dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to collect, sort, price, and set up the sale and the over five hundred community members who came, saw and bought books. All of the money raised is used by the Friends to underwrite the costs of the dozens of fabulous free programs our Library puts on for our community every day, week, month, and year.
